We...are trying ourselves a little experiment. My mom reaaaallly wants a cat and we weren't sure how things were going to go.

My brother Thomas brought home a kitten as part of the experiment...and it didn't go over too well . Tika...as the cats named, did NOT like Sam, our happy harmless yellow lab. She jumped out of my dads hands, flew (literaly flew) over the bar and scaled the kitchen wall. But once she's alone and away from Sam, she's a loveable little thing.

I know that some cats aren't like that. They tolerate dogs pretty well especially those that are well mannered. Except this one probably came from a family that dosen't have a dog and didn't know how to...handle that.

Anyway, it was a fun experiment. We know that Sam won't do anything except investigate and probably leave it alone. Oh well. We'll try another cat sometime ^^...hopefully one that has at least seen another dog.
